Thought Leaders at SES: Michael Gray V-Interview

Michael Gray (follow him on twitter) has certainly earned his stripes in the internet marketing world. Next time you see someone yell @ Matt Cutts (Google’s affable anti-spam executive) from the audience at an SEM conference, there’s a good likelihood it’s GrayWolf.

Always buttoned down with ducks in a row, this guy goes out on a limb for the good of our community and has well-researched goods to back them up. I was pleased to chat with him @ SES Chicago this week by PocketCam Interview.

A true industry thought leader, GrayWolf has helped countless businesses in creation of their Social Media Strategy, blog development & SEO. In the interview, Michael reveals what got him into search as well as his take-no-prisoners view of Google. He touches on diversifying traffic referrals & lends his philosophy on buying links.

@ SES Advanced “Give it Up,” Seattle, GrayWolf showed data that essentially proved that Google’s PPC quality score was a semi-myth at the time, by test marketing the keyword “ringtones” to WhiteHouse.gov. He’s been equally provocative here @ SES Chicago. We hope you enjoy a few minutes with Michael Gray.
