Speaking @ SMX Local/Mobile San Francisco

Posted in aimClear

smc-local-mobileThis week I’ll have the distinct pleasure of speaking at SMX Local/Mobile San Francisco 2008. With an estimated half a trillion dollars in sales tallied offline in 2007, the holidays are coming up fast.

Why quote offline conversion metrics? Well, with America teetering on recession, understanding the local/mobile space is crucial for any business because search is often utilized by customers for research followed by offline purchase. If you can be in the Bay area July 24th and 25th, we highly recommend you attend.

aimClear covered SMX Lo/Mo last year and it was a highlight of the year. Sequenced by Chris Sherman and Greg Sterling, this year’s 2 day-2 track local/mobile intensive will get you up to speed on essential information quickly. I’ll be speaking on the “Local Mobile Case Studies” panel on the “Local Mobile Strategies & Tactics” Friday July 25 after visiting our friends @ the GooglePlex in Mountain View. I’ll hope to see you there.

Congrats on the speaking gig Marty. I’m not coming to LoMo this year. Gonna limit SMXs to Advanced I think.

@Scott: I met you & Andrew Shotland @ SMC Lo/Mo last year in Denver. That was one of the coolest parts of the conference. :)
