This makes us very happy marketers, because we know that each event presents a cornucopia of beautiful professional opportunities. We never miss the chance to share knowledge with eager attendees, train alongside industry luminaries, see old friends, make new connections, and travel to some of our favorite cities in the world.
For aimClear, the fun starts well before we even set foot in the convention center. On the advent of most confs, we transform aimClear Blog into a virtual set of The Tonight Show, hosting interviews with choice speakers set to take the stage. There’s nothing quite like a candid Q&A with the thought leaders in your field – you get to learn from them and about them – everything from professional backgrounds to favorite adult beverages and vacation spots. We hosted nearly two dozen totally awesome interviews in 2012, and look forward to the gems 2013 will bring.
Indeed, we are pleased to announce the launch of our Webmaster Radio show, PPC Rockstars. Every Monday at 2pm CST / 3pm EST, we’ll be hosting killer interviews with today’s PPC pros, each packed with online advertising best practices and trusted campaign optimization techniques that scream. SEO Copy, Google SPYW, & Salamanders: The Heather Lloyd-Martin Story
If you’ve spent any serious time on the search marketing conference circuit, you’re no doubt familiar with Heather Lloyd-Martin. Maybe you saw a flash of her signature red hair when you poked your head in the Speakers’ Room, or watched as she dazzled crowds, trading hats from lively moderator to panelist to presenter (averaging 327 words per minute)… or perhaps you even hung out and talked shop together at some fabulous networking event. Whatever the context – you know her, or at least of her – and if you plan to hit up any cherished SEM gatherings in the future, odds are you’ll find her there…
Tweet Tips, Role Models, & Social Media No-Nos: A Look at Dana Lookadoo
Dana Lookadoo. Does a groovier last name exist? Studies* show that four out of five marketers don’t believe it’s a real surname at first- convinced instead it’s some cutting-edge, clever brand alias thought up by a Mad-Men-tastic team on the top floor of a swank skyscraper. She once explained to me at a networking event in Vegas “Lookadoo’s” pretty righteous cultural origins (thereby convincing me of its authenticity), but I’m ashamed to say I sort of forgot the details. Had I chosen to imbibe in her trademark SEO Insights Seltzer rather than red wine, perhaps I would have retained such valuable information. (*No such studies exist.)
