Globe-Trotting 2012: aimClear Sets Sights on the East for #SES NY

Posted in SES New York, Speaking Engagements

New York in late winter

We’re just about to kick off month three of the New Year, and already the aimClear team has skyrocketed back and forth between Hawaii, San Diego, Portland, San Jose, and probably a handful of other cities escaping our memory at the moment – all on a whirlwind first leg of our 2012 conference calendar.

This week, while half of aimClear is kicking it in sunny California speaking & covering #SMX West, the other half is preparing to cruise over to ever-glamorous New York, New York, just in time to catch Search Engine Strategies. This go-round, Marty Weintraub (@aimClear), Ryan MyGrath, and yours truly Lauren Litwinka (@beebow) will be representing aimClear in the City that Never Sleeps. No joke… in between speaking, live-tweeting, blogging, and a healthy dose of networking, it will be some sort of freakish miracle if we do get any sleep at all. Read on for more details.

Search Engine Strategies is, as we often admit, one of those industry conferences that holds a special place in our calendar’s heart. When the frozen tundra of Duluth, Minnesota starts to think about thawing come March, we have our eyes set on the East coast, for nothing rings in the new season like a trip to the Big Apple for SES NY.

Any event that draws together thought leaders and longtime pals the likes of  Richard Zwicky, Greg Jarboe, Matt Van Wagner, Bruce Clay, Thom Craver, Bryan Eisenberg, Bill Hunt, Michael Gray, Avinash Kaushik, Marc Poirier, Angie Schottmuller, Loren Baker, and countless more — PLUS easy access to amazing Zagat-tastic grub… yeah, we try to fit it into our schedules if we can. :) .

#SESNY 2012 has a speaker line-up and agenda that’s sure to please folks from all walks of the online marketing spectrum– from search to social, paid to organic, competitive intel’ to copywriting. We’re really looking forward to, among other killer sessions, Marty’s solo preso on the Spotlight Session Track.

Mark your calendar for Thursday, March 22 at 2:15 pm EST when Marty will deliver a deep look at Mining Deep Social Media Strategy From Search History. Amplifying social media strategies with invaluable search marketing experience is where it’s at- plain and simple. Search and social go hand in hand, and clever marketers know that leveraging one to aid the other can yield tremendous and powerful results.

Marty will lead attendees through the art of mapping search to social demographic research, tips for mashing up organic and paid social, radical and sophisticated social media targeting supported by search, rockstar tactics for identifying power users by way of classic search conversion semantics history, as well as best practices for holistic outreach so you don’t creep anyone out, and end up making more social media friends who matter.

Sound like your cuppa tea? Be sure to register for SES NY for your seat at the table, and don’t forget to check out Marty’s must-see session. Ryan and I will be cruising around the Hilton New York for the three-day gathering, live-tweeting our hearts out and blogging full coverage right here in aimClear blog. A closer look at our coverage agenda will be coming up in the next few weeks, along with some exclusive interviews with a handful of fellow speakers set to take the stage.
