Thanks for the review, I will have to make it to one of these SES events soon. Web analytics can be great fun, but it is always good to be able to make actions, a few key actions that can help turn data viewing into dollars

Sort the data by pages that have resonable levels of visitors but high bounce rates. Then take time to review these pages to determine what elements can be improved is usually one of the following
*poor content
*page load times
*page errors

View what keywords are not driving conversions and examine how much time thse visitors are spending on the site, before you delete them try sending these vistors to a different part of the site or direct to a product page or contact page. I improved a clients number of visitors moving to their signup page by 2850% in 1 day by switching the landing pages.

While this may sound like a skewed statistic because of course if we drove visitors straight to the signup page from Adwords it would increase dramatically without looking into our web analytics data we would not have known how poor the signup page was performing and known to change this.
