Scott Clark: I actually did a video interview with Richard Zwicky where we talked more about Pay Per Conversion this morning. It will be up tomorrow.

TravisMelvin: glad you enjoyed the summary! Also check out my coverage on <a href="http://www.aimclearblog.com/2008/12/10/day-2-my-daily-takeaways-from-ses-chicago/" rel="nofollow">day 2</a>.

Liked the recap and wish I had the time and money to get to SES. Thanks for keeping us up on what's going on in Chicago this year on the recap and thought it was nice, brief top level summary. thanks.

Any more details on the idea related to pay per performance arrangements? I struggle in a retainer-centric firm when clients want to talk "hours allocated" or "resulting hourly rate" - It adds friction and distrust. Others require an hourly rate (often because that's how they pay their "I.T." consultants, but that's another rant.)

But performance based arrangements are flawed due to poor measurement, phone-based B2B sales that go unreported, etc. Even my largest clients do not provide me conversion revenue figures. It's a negotiation minefield.
