Marty, double thanks for the excellent coverage I missed while moderating the How Ya Doing Sessions. (only sorry we didn't meet up in Orlando!)

I'm definitely not surprised by the level of sophistication in analytics employed by most established travel corporations, they've long been attuned to their consumers behaviors and develop exceptionally strong programs around data.

Like John said over in his blog, the basics still are the best way to move the needle in the travel segment hough. i'm am still surprised a bit by the fact that just as many travel organizations also miss the very basics of SEO, but at least have become keenly aware of how important it is.

Marty,

The advertising is always a the bottom of my posts. They are secondary to the content.

This is common practice among many quality blogs. For example SearchEngineLand.com and SearchEngineGuide.com

Great coverage Marty - now I don't have to wait for Trent to get back to the office so I can pick his brain!

Thanks Trent. I will fix it. Thank you for the data. Thank you for the strength of the presentation. After all these shows I bring my own extension cord and "coddle" the staff until they help :).
